TV Size: How Big is Too Big or too Small?

The Calculation:

1.5 – 2.5 x the diagonal of the Television = Optimal Viewing Distance

The best viewing distance of the Display size you choose, should matchup with your optimal viewing area i.e. a couch or love seat ect.

Here are some examples of Optimal Viewing distances for these display distances where the lower measurement indicates the TV would be large in the space and the bigger measurement indicates the TV would look smaller:

55″

82 1/2″ – 137.5″

65″

97 1/2″ – 162 1/2″

75″

112 1/2″  – 187 1/2″
